Maskbook celebrates its 1500th masked portrait !
The Maskbook gallery now gathers more than 1500 masks from over 30 countries !
Zhihong Xie, living in Beijing, is the 1500th!
His mask is called Trachea and is made using drinking straws : minimal resources for maximum effect!
His solution to the environmental crisis is : "fight the smog, love yourself and others".
Smog is a daily reality in Beijing, one of the most polluted cities in the world.
