Maskbook at COP23 in Bonn, Germany with Creative Klima

Maskbook was present in Bonn, Germany for COP23 as part of an innovative cultural program, Creative Klima, a program specifically created and designed for the 23rd Conference of the Parties, produced by Art of Change 21.

The program brought together major French and international stakeholders, such as Atelier 21 and its initiatives Paléo-énergétique and Solar Sound System.

A Maskbook portrait exhibition was organized in partnership with the Institut français Bonn, open to the general public for the duration of COP23, from the 6th to the 17th of November 2017.

On Sunday, November 12, a giant and festive mask-making workshop was held on the boat, Township MS Beethoven, a partner of the event, on the banks of the Rhine and a few hundred meters from the conference center.

Creating masks to the tunes by Solar Sound System and alongside the Paleo-energetic timeline displaying the history of renewable energy inventions, the atmosphere on the boat was lively and full of good spirit.

The ingredients to make the masks were upcycled and collected locally in Bonn, Germany.
