Maskbook Goes To Belgium, with PointCulture

Maskbook, by Art of Change 21, has partnered with the association PointCulture to bring Maskbook to Belgium, starting February 17, 2017.

Mask book workshops and exhibitions are taking place throughout the month and until end of March at different PointCulture association locations in Belgium (Brussels, Liège, Louvain-la-Neuve, Namur and Charleroi), in order to mobilize creativity, raise awareness and incite action on health-pollution-climate issues.

Kicking off this exciting month-long program with PointCulture in Belgium, a special event was organized on February 17th, la Nuit des masques, or Night of the Masks. It was a fun and festive moment dedicated to the problems of Health, Pollution, and Climate.

120 masks were created at PointCulture’s Brussels location over the course of a fun night that included DJs, a photo booth, an exhibition and a participatory workshop. Famous Belgians showed their support and attended the Friday night soirée: renowned climatologist Jean-Pascal van Ypersele was a proud sponsor of the event and Belgian sprinter Olivia Borlée got masked ... The Princess Esmeralda of Belgium was even in attendance at Night of the Masks !

The exhibition continues at PointCulture Brussels and Point Culture Liège until the end of February and at Point Culture Charleroi until the end of March.
