World Efficiency, the congress of innovation!

During the  'World Efficiency' congress aimed at finding solutions and resources for climate change issues that took place in Paris (Porte de Versailles) from the 13th to the 15th of october 2015, Maskbook was present to animate a booth : workshop, exhibition of masks and portraits.

Conference speakers and visitors were intrigued by strange objects from waste materials, began asking questions, astonished by the unconventional objects that are the masks... We explained that we had brought with us a variety of ingredients, recycled, ecological materials, etc. part of the solidarity and ecological cycle.

The more adventurous amongst them started creating their own masks. Ideas flourished. Numerous students (often engineers in the field of transport or the environment) but also CEOs lent themselves to the activity and created their masks alongside having their ‘portraits’ taken.

We were able to use some of the exhibiters' material: it was totally unusual and original to put them on masks but the result is amazing! Recycled waste from hospitals, clouds, bio-waste from dehydrated food, copper, aluminium and recycled tyres, insulation fibers, wind turbines, photovoltaic panels, rockwool, etc.
