Explanation of my mask and its message
This mask was created especially for me by the artist Lucy Orta, as part of the Maskbook campaign for the 5th anniversary of the Paris agreement.
Here is her message:
This mask is redolent of equipment for climbing in the high mountains, where one has to equip, adapt and survive extreme weather conditions. This is the case in the mountains and in the poles, but also increasingly in our daily lives. We are entering an era of drawn out emergency. We all become mountaineers in the face of extreme variations in temperature.
