Explanation of my mask and its message
This mask was created especially for me by the artist Mark Dion, as part of the Maskbook campaign for the 5th anniversary of the Paris Agreement.
Here is his message:
This mask evokes the stylized fire often employed in the hot rod race culture of California. It also references the historical catastrophic wild fires of 2020 linked with global warming, which plagued Australia and The United States.
