Grass mask

Explanation of my mask and its message
This mask was created especially for me by the artist Harsha Durugadda, as part of the Maskbook campaign for the 5th anniversary of the Paris Agreement.

Here is his message:
Masks today represent a unique persona while protecting us from the dangers of airborne threats. It is our responsibility to create a mask that not only promotes sustainability in its visual aesthetics but at the same time could also open up possibilities of addressing the challenge at hand. Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing grass on this planet and hence a perfect choice.
This mask is made from a bamboo mat originally made in Northeastern India.
