Explanation of my mask and its message
This mask was created especially for me by the artist JeeYoung Lee, as part of the Maskbook campaign for the 5th anniversary of the Paris Agreement.

Here is her message:
This mask is made from upcycled plastic bottles. The shape is inspired by clusters of sea anemone to pique the audiences' interest in wildlife. Our overuse of plastic and our rampant consumerism has polluted the soil and the oceans, destroying delicate ecosystems and bringing forth climate change. I wanted to bring more awareness to these environmental issues, and remind the audience of our role in changing the world for the better.
