My solution to the environmental crisis
The current trend towards general dematerialization is not without question by its environmental stakes, by its public health stakes, and by its cultural and even civilizational stakes. The physical media (a book, a table, a disk, but also archives or codex) are infinitely more durable than all the files accessible on an ever-increasing quantity of devices and screens of all kinds, but will they still be available in 100 or 200 years ... or even in 25 years?
