Maskbook in Marrakesh for the COP22
Maskbook was at the heart of BALAD_E, the Art of Change 21 event held in Marrakesh during the COP22, from November 7-18, 2016.
Art of Change 21 teamed up with the renowned Café Clock in the Kasba district of the Medina, where a Maskbook exhibition was open for the duration of the COP22 and a Maskbook creative workshop took place, with the support of the UN Environment.
Other workshops were held at the artist Hassan Hajjaj’s Riad Yima, which served as the headquarters for BALAD_E during the COP22, and an event was organized by the Schneider Electric Group at the Riad Denise Masson .
Nearly 200 masks were created through these workshops which brought together local and international participants from every continent who made the journey to the Moroccan capital for the 22nd Climate Change Conference.
