Workshop, New Delhi, India

Maskbook proposes a workshop to students of the Pagdandi school, a Swechha initiative created in 2007 that has developed into a regular informal school run by Swechha volunteers for children of Jagdamba camp, a slum community in Sheikh Sarai, South Delhi. For this school that inspires environmental responsibility and active citizenship, the DIY Maskbook workshop offers a unique opportunity to act on the issue of air pollution, health and climate change through the lens of creativity. 

In partnerships with the nonprofit Swechha, a new Delhi based, youth-led and youth-run organization that is dedicated to enabling change-makers and enacting change for a sustainable society, this workshop is the first of two New Delhi workshops that focus on bringing the Maskbook project to different youth populations throughout the city.
